UTAH DECA - PREPARING EMERGING LEADERS AND ENTREPRENEURS.

DECA is a high school marketing and entrepreneurship organization that is dedicated to developing and training the next generation of business and civic leaders.  Our business training focuses in the areas of entrepreneurship, marketing, hospitality, and management.  We strive to develop high school students to work hard, be creative, and become leaders through our unique business conferences and competitions.

Through participation in DECA activities, DECA members learn how to communicate thoughts and ideas, how to organize a presentation and more about what businesses expect from employees, while gaining problem solving skills.  The DECA program empowers students to be effective leaders and helps to connect school to the real world.

DECA is endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education as a co-curricular student leadership and career technical education program.

UTAH DECA is chartered by the Utah State Office of Education and endorsed as an essential component of business and marketing education.
