Membership Link https://membership.decaregistration.com/deca#

Events- Students can compete in Three (3) events: 2- Case Studies MAX Team Case Studies MUST have the SAME partners for both events.

**this allows us to schedule and coordinate the schedules for the events. Students can still compete in a variety of ways: Solo Case + Team + Project or other configurations. Students will only be allowed to compete in ONE event at ICDC.

Registering Multiple Events- The system will only allow you to select two events. Most students will compete in one or two events. IF you have a student or group that is doing two case studies PLUS a project, you can e-mail me and Jill will input the third event (project event) into the scheduling system. I will need: STUDENT/TEAM NAMES + EVENT (project)

Schedule Tentative Schedule:

8am Opening & Instructions

9am – 4pm Competitive Events

On your Own Lunch – based on scheduled events WSU will have facilities open during the day

6pm Dinner and Awards Ceremony

** this is a TENTATIVE schedule that may be altered after actual registration is received and events are scheduled. The goal is to have a one-day, accurate and authentic competitive event. As most chapters are traveling, we will make efforts to move up events based on registration and scheduling. **

Testing- Exams will be done ONLINE–November 4 through November 10

Exams must be proctored by the advisor/university – same as ICDC events.

The exam portal will be open for testing from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

SPECIFIC EXAM INSTRUCTIONS WILL COME LATER AS A SEPARATE EMAIL

Hotels- There is not a University Hotel at Weber State, but there are several options in the area for chapters that are looking to stay in Ogden.

Advisors- Advisors must also pay the $75 registration for the event. This is used to cover the expenses of food and swag for participants.

Student members must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the state of Utah on either a full—or part-time basis at some point during the academic year. This includes undergraduate and graduate students. Each chartered association may further define its own membership qualifications, and each chapter may set more detailed criteria. Collegiate DECA membership is also open to DECA advisors, alumni, and professional members.
