The Gold Re-Certification Standards are product/service management, pricing, and promotion. 

The 2027 ICDC competition topic is promotion. Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, all SBEs applying for Gold Certification or Gold Re-Certification will incur a $25 non-refundable application fee to cover fees related to the certification program.
